Using the Standard Assessment Procedure to Improve the Energy and Environmental Performance of Dwellings
SAP is an essential tool for assessing the energy and environmental performance of dwellings, as well as sap energy software providing guidance on how to improve these performances. The Standard Assessment Procedure is based on a variety of factors, which include the construction and design of a dwelling, its insulation levels and glazing type, heating systems used, ventilation methods employed and any renewable energy sources installed. The procedure takes into account all these sap energy software elements in order to provide an accurate assessment of a dwelling’s overall energy performance.
